WWI US Army PIcture of Black Recruits SEE DESC

This picture fascinates me!
Since it came with a bunch of misc. WWI items (sadly, nothing else that came could be tied to the picture), I'm assuming that this is from the WWI era.
I could be wrong though.
I included close ups of a couple parts of the pic as well.  What I find interesting is that the recruits are all carrying what appear to be firearms they brought with them.  A mishmash of different rifles.  The whole picture has so much great history to it!  Love the phalanx of drill seargants looking over them too!
