  • Condition: Good-Very Good overall vint cond: Offered is this clean & very well pres, 43" in length, lg panoramic long photo of assembled WWI US enlisted men or 'doughboys' of the US Army in training at Fort Devens, MA. The view is of an entire company, 'Company C, 303 M.G.B.n,' w/2 rows of seated doughboys w/their legs crossed in front of them & w/their hands clasped together. In back of the 2 rows of seated soldiers are another 2 rows of standing doughboys. All soldiers have their characteristic, period WWI tall hats on, period gators & blk leather boots. The long photo was taken by Cirkut Photo Co., of 11 Whitman St., in Leominster, MA. The photo had orig glass over it that had a crack in the glass in one corner & has been swapped out for a pc of plexiglass very carefully. The sepia-tone photo is virtually undamaged & doesn't suffer from any stains, tears, foxing, excessive tanning or color depreciation. American doughboys in training at Ft. Devens, MA, c.1914-1918.
