eighties, and of American history.  This original 1982 promo poster of the celebrated three-night CBS Network television event "The Blue and the Gray",
is a rare find.  The poster was made and distributed to school teachers across the United States, encouraging teachers to ask their students to watch the movie event about the state of affairs in the United States right before the Civil War.  The film was produced by Larry White and Lou Reda Prods. for CBS Network, and starred Gregory Peck as Abraham Lincoln, Lloyd Bridges, Paul Winfield, Stacy Keach, Rip Torn and Colleen Dewhurst, all pictured in the beautiful illustrated poster.  On the opposite side of the poster is information about the TV Movie and the history that inspired it.  Good used condition.  The poster was originally sent out folded, but has been kept and will be shipped out rolled.  Small tears, creases, and some wear on edges.
