Description
Sunoco Oil Bottles & RackHere's a pair of original oil bottles from a Sunoco gas station. Embossed Duraglass bottles with all the right state markings on them. The have the pyroglazed SUNOCO logo on front and a partial SUNOCO decal on the shoulder of one bottle.
The caps are the hard to find original blue plastic caps used in the 1940s and 1950s, before they did away with the bottles but after the tin funnel caps. These caps usually got broken and are scarce.
Each bottle measures 14" tall.
Both bottles have the same markings. One quart glass bottles. At the bottom they have the PA Serial M-24, the 64 Minn (in a triangle) and NC M-10 Approved (in a circle). Above the SUNOCO logo they say One Liquid Quart and above that Mass. 0-11-B Seal (in a square). They also have the angled FILL TO LINE and arrow on the neck
Very nice, original condition
They come in an original 2 bottle rack that would allow the attandant to bring two bottles of oil at a time to put in your car.
