This listing is for a set of five soup bowls in the
"Hampton"
design, pattern #3758. The porcelain bowls, which measure 8-1/4" in diameter, were manufactured Sango. The pattern has since been discontinued. These bowls feature leaves on a black and gold band, gold verge, and a white center.
THE MAIN COURSE
You'll find these soup bowls to be,
at worst
, in superb condition with only extremely minimal and minuscule surface wear.
What very few utensil marks there are, are "clean" and not the dingy gray scuff marks that are commonly found, the center is pure white.
The decor along the rim is pristine and unblemished, the coloring is vivid with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, all of the bowls are completely free of; cracks, chips, nicks, crazing, stains, and repairs.
These soup bowls are in
far better
condition than what is typically considered to be "excellent" or "gently used".
