    Rare Marx Sears #12000 Double train set.
    Set #1
    635 Electric Red Mercury with Chrome boiler front. Engine is complete. Has play wear scratches. No rust. Was tested and runs very nice. Should be serviced before long run time. Hard to find engine.
    552 Red Tender. With black New York Central strips and lettering. Has play wear chips and scratches.
    558a  Pullman  Bogota. Non-illuminated: Embossed windows. Red with tan and black. Car has minor play wear
    558a Pullman Montclair Non-illuminated: Embossed windows. Red with tan and black.  Car has minor play wear.
    558a Pullman Observation Non-illuminated: Embossed windows. Red ith tan and black. Has brass railing. Car has minor play wear.

    597 Commodore Vanderbilt with chrome-plated boiler front. Engine is complete. Has play wear scratches. No rust. Was tested and runs very nice. Should be serviced before long run time.
    551 Black Tender. With New York Central and rivets in white. Has minor play wear chips and scratches.
    553 Santa Fe tank car. Is complete with minor play wear.
    552 Rock Island C.R.I.&P. Gondola. Complete with minor play wear.
    556 New York Central caboose. Complete with minor play wear.
    Has original set box. This is the part that makes this set. Box has original label. I had to clean some crayon of of it. It is very readable. Plus 12000 is printed on the box. Box has some damage. Corner of box that is factory taped is torn open. Box is missing 1 long flap. Other long flap is damaged. Long flap has postage label and Christmas Parcel stickers on it.
    Part of bottom insert is present. Has compartments for 2 transformers. Missing dividers for track or trains. Missing top tray and dividers.
    Has 1 of the 2 original transformers. Some track locks.
    Has 2 track cross overs. Pretty sure 1 is original to set.
    8 pieces of straight track.
    19 pieces of curved track.

    Very nice set was just found. With the original family. Has been with 1 family since new.
    This is a very hard sears set to find. It will make a nice addition to a collection.
