Trying to finish up my last few old prewar engines that I still have laying around before I give it up. Then have some in my private collection. Need something ask.
If my price seems high I want you to know that I usually put 6-10+ hours of labor restoring it to the condition it is at now. Plus I usually put Fifty to one Hundred dollars in refurbished or new parts. They are almost impossible to find anymore. And are not cheap. Sometimes less sometimes more.If you want one cheaper you may have to repair it and its costly. Even the new parts do not fit and have to be modified.
It is a very nice Lionel 252 restored  Great condition. I had clean all the brass, wheels are in like new shape, serviced and rewired. Install a repaired reversing switch, lube and replace brushes. Cleaned up very nice.         See the last  pictures of it running. I took the picture of the frame and motor running when I tested it.
I fine 90% of the engine I buy have been restored in the past 90 years. Runs great is both directions. Service and added new wires.    Has been serviced, Tested and runs.  tested it running in forward and reverse. . I serviced the motor, Serviced  manual reversing switch, Antique Prewar Tin Plate Engine. Made in the late 1920'S . Runs F & R , Great runner Forward and reverse. Look at the picture.
