    Description

    This set is missing the 6456 hopper car.
    The set includes:
    Kraft outer box 17x13 1/2 x7. Original 1952 price printed . All flaps and corners are solid.
    2344P Power A unit does have corrosion to cell area, port holes are nice. No cracks, original paint. Original National box with all flaps and original cardboard insert.  Outer box does have writing on the top. Factory sealed on end.
    2344T unpowered Dummy unit is very nice with no breaks or missing parts. All ports intact.  Outer orange box, 2 flaps are detached.  Original cardboard insert is nice.
    2344C Middle or B Unit, super nice, no problems. Orange outer box excellent as well as inner box insert.
    6462 Gondola car with 9 wood barrels, excellent condition. Orange box inside flap is detached.
    6656 Stock car is very nice with gates, no breaks. Box has small tears on both flaps.
    6457 Caboose super nice and box is super nice
    UCS remote control track set with box, appears very nice, box very crisp (not sure if this is the original one.)
    UCS Controller uncouple-unload wire insulation has dried out (not sure if this came with this set)
    Original instructions for operating Lionel Twin Diesel Locomotives, 4 pages, excellent condition.
    There is no tack that will be shipped with this set.  The train power unit 23449 has been tested on a small piece of track and it does light up and run. The cell portion for the whistle is corroded and I have not tested that portion. The train set is one of a few sets that came from a one family collection all were purchased new and are one owner pieces. All the trains and cars need to be cleaned, oiled and serviced for they have been in storage for decades.  This includes the exterior and interior.  As always priced to sell.
