    Description

    LIONEL POSTWAR
    SANTA FE
    NW-2 NUMBER 634
    FROM 1963,65 OR 66
    GOOD RUNNER!
Offered today is a Lionel Postwar O-27 Gauge powered NW-2 number 634 lettered for the Santa Fe Railroad that was produced in 1963, 65 and 66 according to the Greenberg Guide.  It measures approximately 11 inches long by 4 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide.  It has a working headlight as shown in the photos and runs forward and reverse with no neutral on the e-unit (as built).
    Features
Standard features of the 634 Santa Fe switcher include: blue molded body with yellow lettering and stripes, sheet-metal frame with black end- railings, traction-tire, plastic-sided trucks, two-position E-unit plus an illuminated headlight and non-operating coupler on the front and rear.
The 634 is an entry-level locomotive. It does not include any additional trim usually found on switchers such as a simulated gold bell, ornamental silver horn!
I can see no cracks on the plastic shell.
    The front screw hole
    does not
have the hairline crack normally associated with these units.
I took an extra photo of the front of the shell so you can see!
The rubber traction tire is in place and seems to be tight on the wheel.
It shows normal play wear for a train of this age. Please notice the minor missing paint on the cab end as shown in the photos. A little dusting, wheel cleaning and lubrication is always a welcome improvement on these classic engines!
There is some very minor surface rust on the reverser lever on the top of the locomotive.
The locomotive has not been repainted or restored.
Please look at the photos closely and make sure this what you want before bidding as it is sold as-is unless I seriously misrepresent the item.  Feel free to ask me questions about this item before you bid!
