Lionel postwar 601 Seaboard switcher diesel serviced runs well repainted frame

Description

Lionel postwar 601 diesel switcher engine which has been serviced and runs well.  It is best suited for the operator as the frame has been repainted in the past and you can tell since the rivets at the front and rear are painted over and there is some pitting of the metal at the left front as seen in the close up pic#6  The motor has been cleaned and lubed, the reversing unit has been cleaned, it has double axle magnetraction, operating couplers, working headlight, horn (takes a C battery inside), the shell does not have the typical screw hole crack.  Downsizing my train collection and offering this to you.

Old electrical components and used trains often require tinkering and should only be purchased by operators who have troubleshooting and repair skills.  Even if it works during my testing please be aware that bulbs can loosen and other things can happen during shipping. Remember to keep your wheels and track clean for proper operation and this also affects the operation of the reversing unit.
