Lionel 18585 1999 Centennial LocomotiveFrom 1999-2000 Anniversary
CONDITION
:
PLEASE REFER TO PHOTOS FOR DETAILS & CONDITION AS THEY WILL BE PART OF OUR DESCRIPTION, WILL BE SOLD AS PHOTOS SHOWN. Diesel runs well with power applied with my small transformer; reversed as well. The sound unit has been removed. The lights are in the shell but not connected. This would be great for a custom job, to put back together, or use for parts for your broken diesel. Selling without a reserve.
This will require some TLC and screws to re-attach the shell to the chassis.
Comes in the incorrect box (Box is for a Rio Grande Diesel)

On Jul-27-21 at 14:57:58 PDT, seller added the following information:
I wanted to add the following clarifying information due to being contacted by an eBayer member.
Yes, the soundboard is gone. I don't know the history of the unit--it was like this when I got it.
It does still run in both directions (F-N-R) as it should--the reversing unit is in place and still wired to both motors.
I am not sure due to my limited transformer (only a small postwar scout style); however, I believe this is one of the LCRU units that has a remote function as there is a shiny flat piece of metal wired to the electronic reverse unit. I think this is the antenna.--any help would be appreciated if any of you out there in eBay-land know for sure.
Hopefully, this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Danny
