    Description

This is a large size rare fossil ammonite called Eopachydiscus marcianus from the Upper Albian Stage, Cretaceous Series, Washita Group, Duck Creek Formation of north Texas, U.S.A..
It is around one hundred and three million years old plus or minus five million years! It shared the world with the dinosaurs and it's species died out with them.
It measures 9-1/4" wide, 8-1/4" tall, 2-1/4" thick and weighs 8.3 LBS..
I found, excavated, prepared and identified this ammonite.
It is a great example of the Pachydiscus ammonite Family! It has good sutures and ribs showing! It also has a nice clam on living chamber!
It has no repair or artificial colors.
It has all of the paleontology, stratigraphy and locality information on the back.
I will combine sales to save on shipping up to 70 LBS.
Receive free fossil with second purchase! If you win more than one auction, please wait till I send a combined invoice before paying.
Check out my feed back to see just how great my ammonites are.
I recommend shipping through UPS for safe delivery of larger ammonites. Please remember that UPS will not deliver to a P.O.Box.
    Pick up welcome.
