    Description

This is a nice, original set of documents, land plots, photos and a map from the Canada Colonization Association: subsidiary of the Department of Immigration and Colonization; in cooperation with the Canadian Pacific Railway.
The Canada Colonization Association was a subsidiary of the Department of Immigration and Colonization of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company which gave valuable assistance to Mennonite land settlement in Western Canada after World War I. It was organized by Colonel John S. Dennis in 1919 as a private organization but was soon taken over by the Canadian Pacific Railway. T. O. F. Herzer was its long-time director.
    Documents measure 8.5" x 11" and contain fourteen 2.5" x 3.5" photos. Map measures 25" x 32".
Some of the documents have creases/tears. Photos in good condition. Map is very fragile and readily separates along creases, in need of repair.
Please study our photos carefully and email with any question.
