    Description

This is a vintage road map of state of Alabama produced in 1946. In color the pictures are still nice. Includes landmarks such as Bellingrath Gardens, Statue of Vulcan, Medical School at Univ. of Alabama, bridge at Florence, & Horseshoe Bend & others. Measures over 2ft long & about 22" wide. Could be framed for a statement piece or use some of the smaller maps to frame. Folds up but because of age the folds are separating and there are some curling edges on front and tears see pic. Still a nice Keepsake of days gone by. The Governor at this time was Chauncey Sparks, Swift state highway director & assistant E N Rodgers. Has been stored in a smoke free home after acquiring many years ago. Would make a unique gift for the history buff. Now 75 years old!Accept Payment through Ebay s/h .25 +'any applicable sales tax is required.
